A Couple of Pin-Ups I did for GirlsDrawinGirls a few years back

I don't usually like sharing my own artwork or scribbles with people, which is contradictory to my existence as an artist in an industry that relies on networking.  But I have to get over it.  By creating this blog, I'm forcing myself to just put myself out there and hopefully it will also provoke me to draw more outside of work...


Here's some GDG (GirlsDrawinGirls Pin Up Art) work from Book #2 (Fairytales) and #1.  The colors and lighting on the Rapunzel painting make me cringe, but oh well.


Back when I worked on the Simpsons (which I did at this time) I tended to make the people I drew have large heads.  The Surfer Chick is watercolor and there's no undo button or transform tool... :-)
